Game Week 1 Team August 19, 2006

I’m not going to make any recommendations for the first week as there are far too many players to choose from.

My advice is to try stick with well known performing premiership players where possible. Very often there is a settling in period for new players from the championship and from new foreign transfers. The only problem with this advice is that most of the established players cost a lot of money!

I have gone a little risky up front and totally ignored my own advice. Shevchenko, Luque and Doyle are not proven in the premiership, but I just have a feeling :)
